Training of Managers and Supervisors
We offer traditional legal seminars and training in employment-related areas, including harassment, discrimination, workplace investigations, and company employee policies. The legal theory respondeat superior (let the Master answer) means, in layman terms, that employers may be held liable for the actions of their supervisors if the supervisors are acting within the scope of their employment. Therefore, it is imperative for employers to know what their supervisors are doing. Supervisor training is an essential component of keeping an employer’s liability to a minimum. Not only do supervisors need to understand what is acceptable in terms of conduct regarding employees, but they need to understand the consequences of their own actions.
