Managing Member CEO/Founder
Castor Sprattlin Law Group, LLC was founded by Nancy Castor Sprattlin in 2011 after she had spent more than 10 years as a defense litigator at prominent firms such as Greenberg Traurig LLP, Epstein Becker & Greene LLP, and Wilson Elser Moskowitz Edelman & Dicker.
Employment Law: For more than 20 years, Nancy has served the needs of employers and their businesses and litigated employment cases in New York and Georgia. Nancy has represented a diverse group of clients including Fortune 500 companies as well as small to medium sized companies before federal and state administrative agencies, including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Department of Labor, the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs and the New York City Commission on Human Rights.
Nancy has been successful not only in defending her corporate clients in employment litigation but also in designing effective strategies geared toward minimizing workplace disruptions and conflicts. She regularly investigates employee claims to bring about resolution in an effort to avoid litigation. She performs wage and hour audits and reviews employment practices in identifying areas of non-compliance. Nancy advises and assists companies in preparing and negotiating employment and severance agreements, including nondisclosure agreements and other restrictive covenants. Nancy regularly conducts workplace trainings including sexual harassment/discrimination training and one-on-one coaching for executives and staff. She also partners with Employment Learning Innovations (ELI) and facilitates the Civil Treatment® Workplace series.
Estate Planning/Probate: In addition to her employment law practice, Nancy also practices wills & trusts and probate. She assists business owners, professionals, and their families with their needs in estate/legacy planning (creating valid wills and trusts), probate (assisting families with settling the affairs of loved ones after death), and guardianship/conservatorship (assisting in obtaining legal authority to assist an elderly or disabled person).
Nancy serves on the Board of Trustees of Covenant Christian School and as the Chair of Board Development and Human Resources Committee. She is a proud mother of three sons. When she is not practicing law, Nancy enjoys volunteering at her sons’ schools and spending time with her family. Nancy enjoys reading, traveling and going to the opera. Nancy is fluent in French. According to her sons, Nancy is “Wonder Woman”!
Katrina Patterson

Katrina Patterson, Esq. is a prominent New York legacy planning attorney and licensed real estate broker. Katrina has an extensive estate planning practice that includes estate planning and trusts and estates administration. She has assisted professionals, business owners, and their families with their wide-ranging estate planning needs.
Katrina loves helping people and making a positive impact on people’s lives. With years of experience in Wills, Trusts, Estates, and Guardianships; Life Insurance, Annuities, and Securities; Real Estate; and Small Business, Katrina has helped numerous clients understand and maximize their options concerning the property they own and putting plans in place to protect and preserve their property for their benefit and for the benefit of the ones they love.
Katrina is also the Founder/Principal of, KP Clarity – KP Clarity Home, a consulting firm that helps individuals within businesses, organizations, and communities counter the impediments of conflict that hinder relationships, impede productivity, and contribute to unhealthy workplace and living environments. Katrina serves as a Board Member and Senior Advisor with Change Create Transform, a membership organization for executives and professionals, that provides change management to businesses, organizations, entrepreneurs, and individuals to help them succeed and grow.
Katrina received her J.D., cum laude, from New York Law School. She is admitted to practice in New York.
Richard M. Sprattlin
Client Relations Manager/Notary Public
Richard is an accomplished and goal-driven Executive offering more than 15 years of experience with team management. He is a diplomatic leader who inspires and cultivates productive working relationships with our clients and professional team.
Richard has over 15 years of visible achievements and proven background in the food service/hospitality industry including reversing distressed operations, improving operational turnaround, and generating high-dollar profits. With extensive managerial experience, Richard brought his talents to Castor Sprattlin Law Group, LLC gradually as our Notary Public beginning in 2016 and now as our Client Relations Manager. In his role, Richard ensures that clients receive top notch service and quality representation while we assist them with their estate planning and employment law compliance needs.
Since 2016, Richard has been commissioned as a notary public in Georgia and has ensured that our clients’ legal documents and estate planning instruments are properly executed. Richard is known for his personable attitude. Richard always strives to make our clients feel most comfortable during client meetings and believes in getting the job done right with professionalism and accuracy.
During his free time, Richard enjoys spending time with family, playing chess, and traveling. Richard also enjoys volunteering at his children’s schools.
